The farm was a seed farm in the 1930s, but has had sheep and a small orchard in recent years. At present, the fruit orchard is slowly expanding as well as other tree crops such as nuts. With a small woodlot, foliage and Christmas trees (live or cut) are available. Small amounts of grain are grown, and more berry plants are being planted (mostly blueberries, and raspberries). In summary, Old Road Farm is a diversified operation with the accent on apples, Christmas trees, and foliage, with more interesting crops planned for the future!
