Brock and Heather began Makaria Farm from 10 acres of raw pasture in June of 2007. Makaria Farm now offers a wide range of organically-grown vegetables and strawberries through a Vegetable Share (CSA) Program, their farm gate, the Community Farm Store (Garage building) and local farmer’s markets.
Makaria Farm launched a Food Security Club in 2012, and is the host farm of the Island Grains project.
Farm visits and sales:
